SHOXS PRO Adjustable Isolators

SHOXSPRO Isolators are designed to provide safe and simple performance on marine suspension seats. For military and professional boat operators this enables seat occupants to set and forget the suspension, with no distractions to the mission. 

SHOXSPRO is a mechanism to adjust the progressivity of the airspring in a SHOXS seat.  A spring’s progressivity determines how its force response changes with displacement.  For airsprings the force response is approximately hyperbolic, growing rapidly as the air chamber approaches full compression.  SHOXSPRO allows users to adjust the volume of the air chamber and thus alters the isolator stroke used during an impact.  When tuned correctly, this leads to better shock mitigation.  

SHOXSPRO Isolators are less sensitive to their occupant's weight, and no other adjustments involving air pumps or damping knobs are required.  SHOXSPRO is simple and fast, the flip of a two-position lever is all that is required to make the adjustment between light and heavy occupants.  This adjustment is especially beneficial to light seat riders, as it enables them to travel further into the suspension for a given impact. 

The simple binary nature of SHOXSPRO makes it quick and feasible irrespective of weather and lighting conditions.  Designed for operation with gloved hands and easy enough to operate in the dark, the simplicity of SHOXSPRO ensures it will be used regularly and correctly.
