When Will Parkinson isn't fighting fires with the UK Fire and Rescue Service, you'll probably find him on the water fighting fish with his team, Smart Fishing UK. Will is also a passionate supporter of the Firefighter's Charity, a UK nonprofit organization that supports men and women in the line of duty with resources to manage their mental, physical, and social well-being. Recently, he and the team had the idea to raise money and awareness for this remarkable organization by competing in as many fishing competitions as they could fit into their schedule.

The first step in their journey was to outfit their boat with the proper equipment. Will and the team have been working hard to refit their 17-foot Dell Quay Dory with new electronic, fishing gear, a trailer, and of course, SHOXS seating. The team selected two SHOXS 3200-X4 shock mitigating seats with armrests to install on their boat. "We wanted some of these amazing seats to make our ride a little smoother," Will said. "The pedestal design is just the right size and footprint for our boat. The quality is unbelievable, and we trust they'll keep our team from getting injured during competitions."

Will and the team plan to travel across the UK and Norway over the next year, entering fishing competitions and attending boat shows, to raise both awareness and funding for the Firefighter's Charity.
